I've experienced a neighbor man and wife being allergic to walnut dust . Has anyone been told that?

Yeah, heard that multiple times over the decades. Walnut dust and chips are also deadly to plants and trees, so not to be used in composting. Walnut grove farmers would plant new trees and plant evergreen trees around the walnut seedlings to protect them until they got established. As the walnut trees matured, they would kill off the evergreen trees allowing room for the walnuts to grow.

I've reacted to Oak when combined with sweat in the crook of my arms, and have reacted to antique Japanese lacquers blistering as they are made from oils processed from the Urushi tree that I think is related to poison ivy, etc.
